Six months after the outbreak of Cordyceps Brain Infection, there are Quarantine Zones established across the nation, and possibly the world –– after all, with modern communication systems seemingly scarce, it's hard to tell what's going on in nearby states, let alone in other countries. However, with Quarantine Zones largely based on large metropolises, hundreds of thousands of small American cities and towns have been left to fend for themselves without government or military aid. Love Creek is one of those cities. While it was never notable enough to be on many maps, it was formerly home to a couple thousand and boasted a strong little community, most of whom commuted to surrounding cities for work –– after the outbreak, most took off for the New York City Quarantine Zone, and those that have made their way back have brought stories of riots, military violence and overcrowding. Now, with its population reduced to only a few hundred, the town is home to those who have decided to eke it out on their own as long as possible, taking their chances with the infected instead of struggling with martial law. Small Town is a private, invite-only AU game based loosely on The Last of Us, the Walking Dead, the Hot Zone, World War Z, etc. If you're a friend of one of our players and would like to join, please speak to them about participating. |
